What is Top of the World?
Top of the World is a free game where you grow an artist: their first videos, their first fans, the rough patches and their first real show. Every moment of their life fills the screen, like a video on your phone, and you swipe it left or right to choose. No account, nothing to install: you play in your browser, on a phone or a computer.
A singing challenge is going around Social Network: will you post your version?
How to play
Create your artist: name or stage name, girl, boy or non-binary, voice, look, country and one of eight music genres.
Swipe each moment left or right. Every choice moves five meters (Voice, Energy, Morale, Friends and Hype) and your money. If Voice, Energy, Morale or Friends hits zero, the career ends: you get one second chance, and only one.
Check the recap at the end of each month: views, followers and the best video on your Social Network feed.
Take the stage after four months, live from a small bar: two choices, then your song, where you tap along to every note. Someone from a record label is in the room…

About ten minutes for season 1. New moments are added regularly.
Do I need the sound on?
It makes the show much more fun, since you tap along to the music, but you can mute it with the button at the top of the screen.
Are Social Network, Orbit Records, Lou… real?
No. The social network, the record label and all the characters were made up for the game.
